I about to depart for another hike with Kerry.  We are hitting 9 state high points. Kerry is driving from TX and I am flying from WA to meet up in Louisiana, where we will stroll up to our first high point of the trip. Then we start the drive to hike in 8 more states over the course of 12 days.  We have a few highlights planned:  1 historic site, 2 famous parkways, 3 nights camping and maybe a surprise adventure.  We will be doing this all with the 3 corgi amigos, however they will be relegated to the short and sweet hikes due to Helen’s advanced age!  I will be posting from the road, and will recap the trip on my return.  

Last time I left you, I promised a recap of my trip to Phoenix to watch the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.  And I just want to let you all know that I am still too disappointed to even think about that game, much less write about it.  To make matters worse, the Spurs were knocked out of the playoffs this week.  I didn’t have money on American Pharoh, and I did not like the outcome of the “fight of the century”. I am not a happy sports fan AT ALL. I think I’ll go on a hike!
