“I am soaked, like I just got out of the shower but it’s sweat”. That was my comment today as I ascended to the peak of Mount Greylock with Jason and Kerry. The downside of the beautiful sunshine was the heat. And the 2,000 ft elevation gain in 2 miles felt like climbing straight up.
We made to the top eventually, 3,491 ft, the highest point in the state of Massachusetts.
Unfortunately there is construction on the war memorial but we checked off this high point and took off to New York. We are now enjoying the evening in the Adirondacks.
